New Years Eve we went to Jerome, When we got down there Lucy was wild! I think its the wildest we've ever seen her. She would shriek and run back and forth the front room. Stop and get some cocnut puffs from Grandma and then run over to Grandpa and get a sip of soda. She figured out that if she didn't eat her meal that she would get some snacks that were much tastier. Lucy also helped organize all the straws in their cupboards, I think Joan will be finding straws all over for the next while.
What else can I say that I haven't already. Lucy is the love of our life. She is now running around. I don't know that either of us have gotten use to seeing her vertical. She likes to carry around shirts, towels and anything fabric related, she seems to favor silky fabrics. You can fin my underwear/garments around the house, and she also likes my purple bra, just that one though.
She has started to sign and sing more. She signs all done and more really well.
The other night she was crying and I walked into her room and she said "Mama, up" it was so sad and sweet. She had her last K9 and molar pop through, well they just barely broke through the skin and are on their way up. So hopefully she gets a little break before the second molars make an appearance.
She still seems to have a special bond with Grandpa Emery, Its fun to watch her follow him around with her mouth open, shes like a little bird. She's figured out that he and Grandma have the "good stuff" weather it be food or soda.
Chad's latest thing is giving her flavored milk. She seems to prefer chocolate. In fact after an evening with her Papa I reached in the fridge, grabbed the white milk and she yelled at me! Little stinker is smart.
She figured out how to open the "child proof" bottle of Motrin, I was doing her hair and looked down, she had not only opened the bottle and spilled half of it but she was sucking on her fingers! Like Father, Like Daughter!
Lucy wasn't in the cooperating mood when I was trying to get a picture of her in her chair, so we played peek-a-boo till I got a decent shot.
