Just hanging out

Lucy has been eating cereal and carrots for almost 2 weeks. It seems like she changes so much day to day. She plays in her bouncer and can sit up for short times by herself. She smiles and talks more and more. She loves her showers with her Papa. She has also taken to drinking out of my camelbak. I dont know if I should call it drinking, She sucks a bunch of water and then spits it out.

Went over to Brad and Alicia's Sunday, Its fun to watch Avery and Lucy play. I cant believe how fast they grow up.

Avery had a good time pushing Lucy around.

After all the playing it was nap time. I could not believe how cute she was with Chad. Just looked so sweet. I couldn't help myself!  One of my favorite things is when Chad dresses her. He mixes and matches and I just can't help it!

Pinterest Day!

Alicia and I decided to get together and have a craft day. I have to admit we were a bit over prepared. We thought we would have time to make wallets and dresses for our girls but 6 hours later we had two cute dresses and were sick of ruffles!

First Feeding and Valentines Day!

Lucy seemed pretty excited to eat for the first time. She is 19 weeks and we decided to try and feed her some cereal for the first time. She had no problems and was happy to eat up. She must be my daughter!

We also tried a mum mum rice treat.
Happy Valentines Day!
Funny to think this day last year we found out we were expecting you!

Jackson Hole

We went to Jackson Hole this weekend. Chad, Brad and Roo got to go skiing all day at Grand Targhee.

They had lots of fun and the snow was pretty good.
Alicia, Avery, Lucy and I got to have a girls day out.
The next day we all went to Jackson Hole and did a bit of shopping and exploring. Lucy was a real trooper through the whole trip.

Aquarium

Lucy got this aquarium about a month and a half ago and it has made life so great! She will hang out in her crib and look at it when she is awake and at night all I have to do is giver her, her pacifier and turn it on. Sometimes when she is still awake and the fish stop moving she pouts, cries or yells at them till I turn it on again.

Catch up time

This is the first smile I caught on camera!

Lucy's first official play date with Annabelle. Love these pictures of them on the play mat.

Can't believe how much Lucy loves her bouncer. It seems so crazy that we tried to get her to sit in it just a couple of weeks ago and she wasn't ready, we put her in and she looked at us like we were crazy if we thought we could leave her in there.
Till last weekend we went to Jerome and Crystal pulled one out, she was a bit confused but then was happy to talk to the blue bear on it. After that we came home and put her in ours and now I can do my make-up and hair. And she is happily entertained the whole time.

Just one more, this is one of my favorite outfits on her. Thank you Randi (and Annabelle) I can't believe I thought she didn't need one of these!

New to this blog keeping thing :)

Happy New Year, Seems like every time I blink a month goes by. So I made a resolution to keep a better family record. I think it will help remind us of the little things in life. The happy memories that are easily forgotten and the activities that fill our year.
Lucy is already four months old and although I have plenty of pictures I have yet to sit down and write about all the cute thing she does and the progress she quickly makes.
Here are a few things she is doing.
Smiles
Laughs
"Talks"
reaches for things
stands in her bouncer
sits in her bumbo
anything she gets in her hands she tries to put in her mouth
She has been sleeping through the night since new years eve, except for the random night her and there
She seems to already have her dad around her little finger
and knows what she wants when she wants
She is normally very mellow, Keep her fed and she is happy
She travels well
I know everyone thinks their kid is the cutest and I have to admit this might become a "how cute is she" blog. Just remember you were warned :)

On the other side of life. Chad and I are still learning how to balance work and family. We thought we had it down and then I went back to work, little did we know.
Chad is busy working and trying to figure out how to fit in some skiing or golf here and there, not to mention the R.C. car races. (nerd)
I have been trying to jump back into work and still try to craft, cook and clean on the side.
So here is our first Emery Episode and many more!
